Grathwohl Heter Named ASA President

Nancy Grathwohl Heter is a fourth generation Shorthorn breeder and was recently elected President of the American Shorthorn Association at their annual meeting in Kansas City, MO. She has served on the American Shorthorn Board for the last 5 years. 

 

Nancy has worked as a regional sales manager in the cattle industry for the last 15 years. She recently accepted a position as regional sales manager with Vytelle, LLC. As a graduate of South Dakota State University, Nancy received a Master of Science in animal science and focused her research on ruminant nutrition and feedlot health.  She received a bachelor’s degree in animal sciences and industry, communications option, from Kansas State University.  

 

Nancy resides at Raymond, Kansas, with her husband, Ryan, and their two children, Josie and Ryder. There, they enjoy raising their children in the agricultural industry and work together as a family to manage their purebred and commercial cattle operation. In their spare time, they enjoy participating in cattle shows and industry events.
